For Farm Animals…
Over 1 million farm animals are raised indoors in intensive factory farms each year here in Dorset. Many of these animals will suffer from overcrowding, painful mutilations, stress, disease, injuries and boredom, unable to express their natural behaviours. WELCOME TO COMPASSIONATE DORSET
Compassionate Dorset are a small independent animal welfare group.
We also act as the local voluntary supporter group for the leading farm animal welfare charity Compassion in World Farming.
We believe that factory farming is the single biggest cause of animal cruelty in the UK and worldwide. Our main aim is to help end factory farming by empowering consumers to make a difference for animals, people and our planet – simply through our food shopping choices – from choosing higher welfare and free range meat and dairy – to eating less meat or going vegan.
