Compassionate Dorset raise over £4,000 for Bonnie’s Last Wish for Suffering Donkeys

Bonnie Christopher was a very special Compassionate Dorset volunteer and friend, who launched her own gofundme page called Bonnie’s Last Wish for Suffering Donkeys back in 2015 to raise funds for the charity Animal Aid Unlimited when she discovered she was battling terminal cancer.

Bonnie passed away in November 2015 aged only 41, but she inspired people all over the world to donate to her last wish raising over £28,000 and counting…

In her honour Animal Aid Unlimited set up the ‘The Bonnie Christopher Forever Home for Donkeys’ in Udaipur in India, to help thousands of neglected and abused working donkeys, and to give them the love (and cuddles!) that Bonnie is no longer able to give directly herself.

You can find out more about the campaign for Bonnie’s Last Wish for Suffering Donkeys in aid of Animal Aid Unlimited via our friends at Animaltopia by Compassion Collective here: www.compassioncollective.co.uk/causes/animal-aid-unlimited
